General description
The HDBaseT 2Play Evaluation Kit (EVK) is comprised of both a Transmitter and a Receiver board, forming an HDBaseT link. This link is designed to enable simplified, long-reach wired connectivity of uncompressed HDmultimedia content over a single standard 100m/328ft CAT5E (or superior) cable.
Evaluation kit content
The 2Play evaluation kit (EVK) contains the following items:
- 1 x 2Play Receiver board.
- 1 x 2Play Transmitter board.
- 2 x 100-240Vac to 5Vdc power suppliers.
Evaluation kit features
- HDBaseT: The 2Play evaluation kit demonstrates transfer of HDMI audiovisual content over an HDBaseT link.
- 100BT connectivity: The 2Play EVK may also demonstrate a fallback to 100BT Ethernet functionality. This mode is not supported by the default configuration, and a special firmware version is required.
